PERAN HUMAS KONI SUMATERA SELATAN DALAM BRANDING PEKAN OLAHRAGA NASIONAL (PON) PAPUA 2021
This research is entitled "The Role of Public Relations of South Sumatra Koni in Branding the 2021 Papua National Sports Week (PON). This study aims to find out the role played by Koni Sumsel Public Relations in the context of the 2021 Papua National Sports Week branding. This study uses the theory of the role of public relations put forward by Dozier and Broom in (Ruslan, 2012: 19). The data obtained in this study were through in-depth interviews and observations with the South Sumatran Palembang KONI. The results of this study indicate that humans have carried out the fourth dimension of human role theory, namely expert advisors, communication facilitators, problem solving facilitators, and communication techniques. Of the four dimensions mentioned, the authors conclude that these four dimensions have gone well in the branding of the 2021 PON Papua activities.
