The purpose of this research were to (1) analyze the allocation of labor due to changes in FFB prices for independent smallholders in Ciptodadi Village, Sukakarya District, Musi Rawas Regency (2) to calculate the income of independent smallholders due to changes in FFB prices in Ciptodadi Village, Sukakarya District, Musi Rawas Regency (3) to calculate independent smallholder household consumption expenditure due to changes in the price of FFB in Ciptodadi Village, Sukakarya District, Musi Rawas Regency. This research was conducted in Ciptodadi Village, Sukakarya District, Musi Rawas Regency in February 2023 using a survey method. Respondents consisted of 30 independent smallholders who were taken purposively. The results of this study indicate that descriptively the independent sample farmers in Ciptodadi Village have 3 farmers or about 10 percent looking for additional income to meet the daily needs of household life by becoming farm labourers. In terms of the total of all activities both within and outside of farming before the price change was 298.81 HOK per six months and after the change was 293.13 with a difference of 5.68 HOK per six months or a decrease of 1.90 percent. Farmer household income before and after the change in FFB prices in Ciptodadi Village averaged Rp. 30,545,155.00 per six months decreased to 24,393,555 or decreased by 20.14 percent, which is the total of oil palm farming income, farming income and Outside business income. Farmer household expenditure before and after the change in the price of FFB in Ciptodadi Village averaged Rp. 16,649,200.00 per six months decreased to 14,376,800 or decreased by 13.65 percent, which is the total of food consumption expenditure and non-food consumption expenditure.
