PERILAKU MAHASISWA DALAM MENGGUNAKAN ROKOK ELEKTRIK (VAPE) DI UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
The study examined the behavior of students in the use of electronic cigarettes (vape) at Sriwijaya University. In this study, a cumulative approach with a descriptive approach is used. Data collection methods consist of observation, in-depth interviews with all heavily defined informants, as well as documentation. The study is analyzed using behaviorist theories by B.f Skinner. Studies show that students' motives are electrified by (1) association. (2) to boost social status. (3) To quit tobacco. (4) lifestyle. (5) smoking for comfort. Student behavior in the use of electronic cigarettes (vape) can be seen in the behavior changes of several individuals who tend to be more introverted and withdrawn. But some individuals are changing into more confidence. In addition, cigarette behavior is influenced by external stimulus and internal stimuli. Such as the thing with external factors can be seen from social and environmental factors, peer associations, internal factors because of biology, and psychological factors, such as those for reducing stress and sobriety.
