High-rise building construction projects have a very high level of risk. Factors such as large work weights and complex building structure designs are the main causes. Risks that occur will have an impact on cost and time aspects, cost and time aspects are the two most impactful aspects in construction projects. It can also cause direct losses for the contractor. Risk can be reduced through a systematic risk analysis approach. The main objective of risk management is to reduce the impact arising from these risks. The case study in this research is the Hajj Transit Dormitory Building Construction Project in Mamuju City, West Sulawesi Province. The project has considerable potential for risk, where the project has a large work weight, multistorey building design, and a considerable level of workmanship complexity. The method used is Severity Index. The results showed that there were 47 risks identified. The dominant risk factor to time is the risk of uncertain weather, while the dominant risk factor affecting cost is the risk of design changes.
