The researche aims to determine the effect of growing media composition and liquid organic fertilizer of pineapple peel waste on the growth of Cilembu sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L.) from tubber. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra from December to February 2023. The design used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) and the observations were analyzed by analysis of variance. This study used 8 treatments, namely P1 = 2,5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using 3:1 growing media composition, P2 = 5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using 3:1 growing media composition, P3 = 7,5 % liquid organic fertilizer concentration using 3:1 growing media composition, P4 = 10% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using 3:1 growing media composition, P5 = 2,5% liquid organic fertilizer consentration using 4:1 growing media composition, P6 = 5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using 4:1 growing media composition, P7 = 7,5% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using 4:1 growing media composition, and P8 = 10% liquid organic fertilizer concentration using 4:1 growing media composition. Parameters observed included the number of shoots, plant length, number of leaves, number of branches, stem diameter, the greeness of leaves, fresh weight of roots, fresh weight of crown, dry weight of roots dry weight, and dry weight of crown.
