Sriwijaya University Palembang is an educational institution where submitting student operational letters is still being done by collecting data on study program administration and waiting three to seven days for the letter to be completed, so the current system is not optimal. Therefore, a student operational letter service information system is needed that can process student application letter data more effectively and efficiently, as well as simplify the process of making letters and can be done anywhere and anytime. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and library research, while in system design the author uses the Rational Unified Process "RUP" method, makes designs with visual modeling Unified Modeling Language (UML) and uses software built using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as the database. The results of the research that has been done is a student operational mail service application that can maximize admin work in processing student application letter data in the Information Systems Study Program, Sriwijaya University, Palembang.
