This research is entitled The Role of the LIMAS Student Press Institution in Distributing the Aspirations of Students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwijaya University. There are two problem formulations in this research, namely first, how is the role of the Limas Student Press Institution in channeling student aspirations and what are the obstacles and expectations of the Limas Student Press Institute. This study used a qualitative descriptive research design and used interview data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the role of the LIMAS Student Press Institute in channeling the aspirations of the students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sriwiya University, is that it has a great influence both for students, lecturers, and faculty officials. Because the LIMAS Student Press Institute is the only center for information and media for the campus press at the faculty level itself. In addition to being the campus press media, the LIMAS Student Press Institute can be a medium of entertainment and educators for students through journalistic products that have value.
