This reseacrch entitled "Representation of Social Inequality in Djakarta-00 Film". This research aims to find out how the film Djakarta-00 represents social inequality through the visuals displayed. This research uses hypersemiotic theory by Yasraf Amir Piliang and uses qualitative descriptive with data obtained from library studies and documentation. From the results of this study showed that the film Djakarta-00 represents a social gap through excessively made signs, the signs have fulfilled the five typological signs of the six signs that exist, namely the actual sign, false sign, artificial sign (atifisial), and extreme sign to convey the messages that the author wants to convey to the audience.
