This research is entitled Women's Crisis Center Communication Strategy In the Dissemination of Online Gender-Based Violence Prevention (KBGO) in Palembang City. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication strategy in the socialization of online gender-based violence prevention (KBGO) in the city of Palembang. In this study, the author uses the theory of communication strategy from Onong Uchjana Effendy. This research method uses qualitative research methods with descriptive data types. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the communication strategy carried out has four stages in accordance with the theory, namely recognizing communication targets, selecting communication media, assessing the purpose of communication messages, and the role of communicators in communication. However, at the media selection stage it has not been fully effective becauseThe Women's Crisis Center is not very active in using its social media.
