Background: Flood disaster is one of the disasters that often occurs in Palembang City. Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penanggulangan Bencana Kota Palembang e (DPK-PB) is a government agency that has an important role in carrying out disaster management needed by affected communities, one of which is logistical assistance and equipment. Logistical assistance and equipment are needed to be immediately distributed to affected areas to save and reduce the impact of disasters, especially floods, so that in carrying out this, logistics management and disaster relief assistance equipment must be carried out. Method: This study uses a qualitative method. Data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in this study includes data reduction, data presentation, and also conclusions. Results/Findings: The results found by researchers in this study are that there are still several obstacles that are inhibiting factors in the implementation of logistics management and flood disaster equipment carried out by DPK-PB Palembang City, this is based on several logistics management functions that have not been carried out as they should. This can be seen from the lack of information or data to carry out an inventory of needs, the lack of available budget in disaster management, the procurement required is not fulfilled, the storage warehouse is inadequate, and the lack of transportation, communication, and resources in the distribution that will be carried out. Conclusion: shows that the management of logistics and equipment for flood disaster relief carried out by the Fire and Disaster Management Service cannot be said to be good
