IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM CSR PT. PLN (PERSERO) UNIT INDUK PEMBANGUNAN (UIP) SUMBAGSEL
The problem that is becoming a concern for the community loday is the role of a company towards the surrounding environment, both internal and external environment. Education itself is consiered as the most important sector that needs to be given more attention to the government as preparing a quality community for sustainable development and UMKM in Indonesia are contributors to national economic growth. This study examines the program implementation process Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at PT. PLN (Persero) Main Unit Development for Southern Sumatra. This study identified two stages regarding the implementation of CSR programs. The theory used in this research is Policy Implementation Theory by Merilee S. Grindle. This study uses a qualitative method that aims to understand and describe the phenomenon that is being studied in depth and detail. Data collection is done by conducting interviews and observations. Informants in this study were as many as 8 people. The data analysis technique used in this study is by condensing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show the program Corporate Social Responsibility (CS) has succeeded in having a positive impact on the community and the environment around the company's work area. All aspects analyzed have been carried out properly. PLN Main Unit Development of Southern Sumatra supports education with scholarships, school equipment assistance, and training activities for teaching staf. Apart from that, the PLN Main Unit Development of Southern Sumatra has also provided assistance to Palm Sugar UMKM in the context of empowering the community's economy. Through this program, the PLN Main Unit Development of Southern Sumatra seeks to create sustainable positive impacts, strengthen relations with the community, and build better social and environmental sustainability. The recommendation in this study is to improve coordination between SR program implementers from the PLM Main Unit Development of Southern Sumatra and also the target group.
