STRATEGI KEPEMIMPINAN CAMAT DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA PEGAWAI STUDI KASUS DI KANTOR KECAMATAN TANJUNG BATU KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR
This research is entitled "Camat leadership strategy in improving employee performance (Case Study in the Tanjung Batu District Office, Ogan Ilir Regency). The background of this research is the problem of leadership, the lack of ability of some employees to master information is also still visible. The purpose of this study was to determine the sub-district leadership strategy in improving employee performance in Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study used a qualitative method, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained is then processed in the form of words or descriptive which is then analyzed based on the theory. Research using Moedjiono's theory requires a leadership strategy to improve the performance of employees there, such as making disciplinary rules, giving clear job descriptions to all employees related to their work, arousing employee motivation at work, making daily reports as a form of assessment, and giving rewards and punishment related to performance. The results of the study show that there are still some employees who lack discipline at work, in addition to the lack of employee ability to master information. For this reason, a leadership strategy is needed to improve employee performance there, such as making disciplinary rules, providing clear job descriptions to all relevant employees work, generate employee motivation at work, make daily reports as a form of assessment, and provide rewards and punishments related to their performance.
