This study is entitled "Analysis of Business Travel Administration Processes at the Secretariat of the Regional Representatives Council of South Sumatra Province Using the Why-Why Analysis Method" which raises the issue of administrative processes in business travel activities caused by incomplete evidence of official travel. administrative documents, evidence of incomplete administrative documents has an impact on returning files in the finance department for re-examination and has the effect of rejecting accountability reports by the Audit Board of Finance and Regional Assets (BPKAD) and because of this official travel activity accountability is very important. This study aims to determine the Administrative Process in the Implementation of Business Travel Activities at the Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council of South Sumatra Province using the Why – Why Analysis Method. This study uses qualitative methods with descriptive techniques. The theory used in this study is the Theory of Root Cause Analysis by Max Ammerman in 1998 which provides an explanation that to find the root of the problem with 5 steps, namely identifying the problem, explaining what happened, identifying the root of the problem, identifying the roots with the why - why analysis method and designing and fix repairs. The research data were obtained from primary data and the results of in-depth interviews conducted with informants or staff in the finance department. Based on the results of the study, there are 3 administrative processes in business travel, namely the administrative process for carrying out official travel, the administrative process of responsibility and the administrative process or disbursement of money.
