Stunting is a process where a baby fails to grow normally in terms of height and weight at birth, which will affect the cognitive development of children during the golden age of 2 years. The prevalence of stunting in Muara Enim Regency in 2022 was 22.80%. Bappeda as the leading sector in coordinating the acceleration of stunting reduction, has the main task and function of coordinating with the relevant agency. This research has a pupose to determine and analyze the role of Bappeda in coordinating convergence for accelerating stunting reduction in Muara Enim Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, with data collection through interviews and documentation, and uses Hasibuan's theory on factors influencing coordination. Based on research findings, Bappeda as the leading sector has played a role and followed the guidance from Directorate general for regional development of in implementing coordination of the 8 convergence actions. Communication and coordination have been carried out together with 13 involved agency through the Directorate general for regional development website and through face-to-face meetings from the village, district, regency, and provincial levels as needed. The implementation is based on the division of tasks and functions that have been determined. In its implementation, there are still obstacles found, including: (1) Sectoral Ego, (2) Village Head Policy, (3) Data Input is not timely on the Bangda website.
