This thesis is entitled "Motives of Viewers of Homosexual Dramas in the Boys' Love Thailand Genre on the @Fessthai Indonesia Twitter Account". The problem of this research is to discuss how the motives of the viewers of the drama Boys' Love in watching the drama, seen from the because motive and in-order-to motive. The purpose of this study is to understand the motives and motives of the viewers of the drama Boys' Love, especially the audience who are also members of the Twitter account @fessthai Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a digital ethnography strategy. Data collection was carried out through observation, structured interviews with 11 informants, and documentation, then analyzed using Alfred Schutz's motive for action theory. The results of this study indicate that the objective motive of watching the drama Boys' Love Thailand is to obtain the moral value, the entertainment values, and seek the value of representation of LGBT groups in the media. While the motive for watching the drama Boys' Love is due to the good quality of the drama, the feeling of comfort, the absence of differences between heterosexual dramas in general and the indifference to socio-cultural values in Indonesia.
