IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PEMBERIAN TAMBAHAN PENGHASILAN BERDASARKAN BEBAN KERJA
The background of this research is that one of the government's efforts to improve the quality of the performance of civil servants is by increasing the welfare of their employees. The South Sumatra Provincial Government provides awards in the form of additional income based on workload, which is expected to improve the performance and welfare of its employees. This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation of the policy for providing additional income based on workload in the regional civil service agency of south sumatra province. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique used was through interviews with informants with selected informants using purposive sampling and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques use interactive models with data reduction steps, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The results showed that the implementation of the policy of providing additional income based on workload at the South Sumatra Provincial Civil Service Agency was not maximized because there were still constraints on the smooth running of routines and functions without problems, namely the calculation of additional income, a lack of employee discipline, and budget constraints. This study recommends supervising and coordinating the implementation of the policy of providing additional income based on workload.
