This study was made with the aim of observing the effectiveness of budget absorption in ob training activites at the Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi of South Sumatera Province for Fiscal Year 2019. This study uses the effectiveness Measurement Theory proposed by Mahmudi using 3 aspects, input, output and outcome. The method used is a qualitative method which is processed using descriptive analysis. The data used is the Government Agency Performance Accountability Report obtained directly from Disnakertrans of South Sumatera Province. The Result showed that the results of the absorption of the Manpower and Transmigration Office of South Sumatra Province of 2 aspects, namely input and output could be said to be effective. Meanwhile, in the outcome aspect it is less effective, researcher gives advice to the Manpower and Transmigration Office to provide training with the help of technology which is expected to facilitate supervision, teach participants, improve apparatus performance, and manage budgets better.
