PT. Jasa Laksa Utama (JLU) as maintenance crushing plant contractor company for reducing size of coal unter coordinated of PT. Bara Alam Utama (BAU) as the owner. The production target to be achieved by PT. Jasa Laksa Utama in March for the chain feeder on line 1 which is 145,000 tons/month and for the production target on the chain feeder line 2 which is 175,000 tons/month. However, the actual production in the field for chain feeder line 1 was 132,422 tons/month or reached 91% of the target and production for chain feeder line 2 was 157,883.52 tons/month or achieved 90% of the set production target. This research aims to review and provide appropriate efforts to increase the productivity of the dump truck against the productivity of the chain feeder so that it will be able to achieve the specified target. Based on the results of data processing and analysis, the results of the calculations between the productivity of 1 unit dumptruck on line 1 and 1 unit dumptruck on line 2 to the maximum capacity of the chain feeder it’s found that the chain feeder can accommodate up to 5 units of dumptruck directly in one time. Then it was found that the main factor affecting the unachieved production of chain feeders was work efficiency is too small that is equal to 67% and after being increased by minimizing time constraints that could be avoided, work efficiency increased to 75 % , by improving work efficiency productivity has been reached. Production of coal hauling after experiencing improvement increased to 361,520.11 tons/month , this has exceeded the production target of 320,000 tons/month which is around 113 %.
