This study aims to determine China's response to the presence of AUKUS (Australia, United Kingdom, United States) in the Indo-Pacific Region. China is one of the hegemon countries in the Indo-Pacific Region which has a strong military force and PLAN (People's Liberation Army Navy). The Indo-Pacific region is a very strategic area for trade or refers to the construction of a security system that holds maritime interests. The size of the area and the importance of connectivity that guarantees maritime security and the economic activities of each country are affected by maritime stability and security. AUKUS is also present to overcome China's hegemony which arbitrarily uses its power in the Indo-Pacific Region. This research uses qualitative research types and library study data types in the form of books, journals, websites, and other sources. This study uses 2 dimensions, namely Internal Balancing and External Balancing, with 4 indicators namely Defense Capabilities, Budget, Alliance, and Policy. The results of this study are that AUKUS has begun to be able to overcome Chinese hegemony in the Indo-Pacific which is running full of tension.
