The formation of Puan Maharani's image through a news frame in the case of installing billboards at the Mount Semeru eruption disaster site carried out by the media Suara.com is a framing that was built and shaped according to the wishes of Suara journalists by constructing reality through what is seen. This construction of reality is part of the media frame which is based on ideology, political views, and the vision and mission of the Suara.com media and can also be seen from the use of language as an important element in highlighting meaning. This study uses the framing analysis method with the theory of Zhongdhang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki with syntactic, script, thematic and rhetorical structures as the main guidelines for analyzing the news framing that is formed. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from news documentation presented by Suara.com. After the analysis was completed, the results obtained were that the formation of Puan Maharani's image through news framing regarding the installation of Puan Maharani's billboards at the location of the Mount Semeru eruption. On Suara.com media, it looked bad or negative. residents affected by the eruption as political commodities, and Puan no longer sees and adapts to the situation in campaigning so that she receives criticism from various parties.
