STRATEGI BUTIK LENTERA DALAM MEMASARKAN KAIN SONGKET PALEMBANG KE PRANCIS&INGGRIS 2018
This study aims to describe the strategy of Boutique Lentera in marketing Palembang songket to France & England in 2018. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a large and strategic contribution in the economic development process of a nation, but there are still very few MSMEs that manage traditional cloth Palembang songket to foreign markets is a serious problem. In this study, the implementation is aimed at gaining an understanding of a strategy implemented by the Lentera Boutique in marketing Palembang songket to the French & British markets in 2018. The author uses the theory created by Michael Porter, namely Diamond Porter, which is useful for exploring the efforts made by the Lantern Boutique in carrying out strategy. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive research design. The data source used is the primary data source obtained from the interview process and literature study. The results of the study show that there is continuity from the industry supported by demand conditions and the company's strategy by playing an active role from the Lentera Boutique in participating in organizations, bazaars and also existing competitions so that finally its Palembang songket can expand its market share to France & England. Research also reveals that the relationship between demand factors and corporate strategy, structure & rivalry is very strong. While linkages with related industries are categorized as weak.
