This research is entitled “The Role of Youth Information and Counseling Center In The development of the Young Generation (Study on the Bukit Gado Gado Youth Information and Counseling Center). The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Bukit Gado Gado Youth Information and Counseling Center in the development of the younger generation as well as the supporting and the inhibiting factors of the Bukit Gado Gado Youth information and Counseling Center. The teory used in this research is the role theory of Biddle an Thomas. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. Determination of informants in this study using purposive techniques. There were 10 informants in this study consisting of 9 main informants and 1 supporting informant. Types and source of data obtained through primary data and secondery data with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview and documentation. The result of this study indicate that the role of the Bukit Gado Gado youth counseling and information the young generation is through several work programs that are inclueded in the youth development domain that has been established in Indonesia. the work programs are 1. Class in Nature, 2. Pancasila and citizenship education, 3. Visiting the library, 4. Teaching modules about”Us”, 5. Counseling about drugs, 6. Sgaring biscuits, banana and milk, 7. Gymnastics, 8. Mental health counseling, 9. Make brows from patchwork, 10. Goes to orphanage, 11 share basic necessities, 12. Provide equal opprtunities and encouragement to all members to develop regardless of gender. The supporting factor for the Bukit Gado Gado youth information and counseling center are, 1. Great enthusiasm from the members, 2. Assistance from various parties, while the inhibiting factors are 1. Funding, 2. Other activities of the members.
