APLIKASI TRICHODERMA SP. TERHADAP PENYAKIT LAYU FUSARIUM PADA TANAMAN CABAI RAWIT (CAPSICUM FRUTESCENS L.)
Chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is an important and widely cultivated agricultural commodity in Indonesia. Total productivity in 2021 decreased by 7.95% compared to the previous year, which was 1.51 million tonnes/ha. This decrease in productivity is caused by Fusarium wilt (F. oxysporum L.). Many controls are carried out by farmers, such as the use of biological agents with antagonistic fungi. The antagonistic fungus used to control Fusarium wilt is Trichoderma sp. This study aims to determine the effect of the incubation period of Trichodema sp. on the development of Fusarium wilt in cayenne pepper plants. The research was conducted using the Randomized Group Concatenation (RBD) method. In observing the severity of the disease on day 21, 28, 35 HSI, the treatment of Trichoderma sp. with an incubation period of 0 HSI (P1), an incubation period of 5 HSI (P2), an incubation period of 10 HSI (P3), and an incubation period of 15 HSI (P4) can reduce the attack of Fusarium wilt. The results showed that the administration of Trichoderma sp. with an incubation period of 10 and 15 days had an effect on the number of leaves and intensity of Fusarium wilt attack, but had no effect on plant height.
