GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA DESA PEREMPUAN DI DESA SUNGAI PINANG KECAMATAN RAMBUTAN KABUPATEN BANYUASIN SUMATERA SELATAN
The background of this research is that there are many female figures who show their faces in public for relations as leaders, of course this raises two different views (pros and cons) from the wider community about women's leadership. Along with the development of the times, many women have become leaders, one of them being the village head. When viewed from the role of the village head, women cannot be underestimated and their abilities must be recognized. That ability is completely unrelated to gender. This can be proven by the female Village Head who has led two terms in Sungai Pinang Village. The goal to be achieved in this study is to determine the Leadership Style of Women's Village Heads in Sungai Pinang Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. This study uses the theory of female leadership styles according to Situmorang which consists of four dimensions, namely masculine, feminine, transactional, and transformational leadership styles. In this study using descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data come from primary data and secondary data that are relevant to the problems studied. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation while data analysis techniques namely data reduction, data condensation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Head of SungaibPinang Village had a distinctive character in leading, it could be concluded that the leadership style used was a feminisme-transformational leadership style.
