KOMUNIKASI PERSUASIF MEDIATOR DALAM PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA SEKTOR JASA KEUANGAN MELALUI MEDIASI ONLINE PADA LEMBAGA ALTERNATIF PENYELESAIAN SENGKETA SEKTOR JASA KEUANGAN (LAPS SJK).
This research discusses online mediation practices that mediators implement at the Financial Services Sector Alternative Dispute Resolution Institution (LAPS SJK). The financial services sector has recently experienced enormous growth and has become integrated into community life. This study used a descriptive qualitative method and aimed to find out how the mediators of the LAPS SJK used persuasion techniques in resolving disputes. Onong Uchana Effendy initiates the persuasion techniques used in this research to analyze the data and the fact-finding information. Persuasion messages are analyzed using association technique, integration technique, pay-off technique, red-herring technique, and itching techniques. The result of this research is that although not all techniques were applied, the mediators were still able to persuade the disputing parties to change their demands and interest. Integration techniques were not applied by two mediators because they wanted to maintain reasonable boundaries with the disputing parties. Keywords: ODR, mediator, persuasive communication techniques
