EFEKTIVITAS PEMBERIAN FASILITAS KITE (KEMUDAHAN IMPOR TUJUAN EKSPOR) TERHADAP VOLUME EKSPOR PRODUK KARET SUMATERA SELATAN KE JEPANG
International trade activities are activities of buying and selling goods or services between residents of a country and residents of other countries, so that goods that are needed but cannot be produced can be fulfilled. One of Indonesia's mainstay export commodities in agriculture is rubber, and Japan is Indonesia's second largest rubber importing country. As an effort to increase export activities, the Indonesian government made a policy called the KITE facility (Ease of Import for Export Purposes). This study aims to find out more about KITE facilities and how effective the provision of KITE facilities is on the number of exports of rubber products from South Sumatra to Japan. The theory used in this study is the effectiveness theory proposed by Richard M. Steers to see how effective a policy is. The research method used is a qualitative research method to analyze and describe the impact that occurs due to the provision of KITE facilities for companies. The data used are primary data through interviews, and secondary data from books, journals, scientific articles, and regulations. This research shows that the provision of KITE facilities to companies has had a positive impact in accordance with the original purpose of making KITE facility policies.
