The Indonesia-Turkey Comprehensive Partnership Agreement (IT-CEPA) is a bilateral agreement between Indonesia and Turkey which began on April 5, 2010. The Indonesian and Turkish governments discussed the prospects for forming the IT-CEPA which was reflected in the joint declaration of the two countries, so the IT-CEPA was finally signed in Ankara on 7 July 2017. IT-CEPA conducted the first round on 8-9 January 2018 then the second round which took place in Ankara, Turkey on 28-30 May 2018, the third round which took place for 2 (two) days from the date 24 - 25 January 2019 in Jakarta, the 4th round which took place on 30-31 January 2020 in Ankara. The purpose of this research is to find out Indonesia's interest in signing the IT-CEPA. This research was analyzed using the concept of the National Interest from Holsti which focuses on economic interests obtained from 3 parts, namely core interests, medium-term goals and long-term goals with 4 indicators. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data used are secondary data and primary data. The results of the study show Indonesia's interest in IT-CEPA can be seen from how Indonesia and Turkey have similarities between the two countries and Indonesia which has an open nature with other countries making it easier for Indonesia to establish cooperation with Turkey which has a strategic position making it easier to introduce Indonesian products. In addition, export and import activities also affect trade activities carried out by the two countries. Indonesia's goal in the IT-CEPA is to pen and secure market access, eliminate tariff and non-tariff barriers, and facilitate trade between the two countries.
