This research is entitled "Socio-Economic Life of Seasonal Beggars on Jalan Demang Lebar Daun, Palembang City". This study aims to determine the background and socio-economic life of seasonal beggars on Jalan Demang Lebar Duan. In particular, the purpose of this research is to find out the background of a person who becomes a seasonal beggar and to find out the socio-economic life of a seasonal beggar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with phenomenological methods. Determination of informants using observationnon purposive. Data collection was carried out by conducting non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The result is that the background of a person who becomes a seasonal beggar includes low education, age factors, declining health and limited abilities and skills. The economic life of these seasonal beggars is included in the low or difficult category and for social life in their neighbors their relationships are quite good, but they are only treated ignorantly or are not indifferent to what they are doing and even though they feel ignored by the environment around them they thought there must be someone reproaching them.
