Megahria is a shopping center located in Palembang which was very popular in the 80s through 90s. Known for selling a variety of clothing products ranging from clothes, textile materials, to tailoring services. Due to the inevitable growth of the city, people’s intrest for Megahria is gradually decreasing. To overcome the fading public interest, it is necessary to do a redesign for this shopping center. The main focus and goal of the redesign is to solve problems that occur on the existing building. Starting from improving the building’s circulation zone, rearranging the anchors and other facilities based on a more cohesive zoning, solving security issues, planning of the building’s utility systems, and to design a more organized parking area for the consumer and its tennats.
