The purpose of this study is to find out how the forms of bullying in this imperfect film are, and to make the public aware of bullying that has often occurred in the community. The method applied is a qualitative method using the method of observation and literature study in obtaining the data. In this study, the author uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method with the meaning of denotation, connotation, myth and Stuart Hall's representation theory. The imperfect film tells the story of a woman who often gets ridiculed about her body shape that is different from most women. This film raises social issues that are rarely raised by Indonesian filmmakers and can be packaged as attractively as possible to convey the behavior of bullying or body shaming that often occurs. The results of this study indicate that there is a description of the forms of bullying or body shaming in this film.
