This research is entitled The Meaning of Shopping for BTS Merchandise in Group Order Cookiechim on the LINE Application. The purpose of this research is to see how BTS fans who are members of Group Order Cookiechim interpret their actions of shopping for BTS merchandise. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method that describes descriptive data of the phenomenon under study with an individual unit of analysis, namely members of Group Order Cookiechim. In determining informants using purposive with the aim of obtaining information about more detailed situations and conditions in accordance with research problems. The research strategy used is a phenomenological strategy with data collection techniques in the form of observation, where the researcher acts as a participant to observe the activities of BTS fans in Group Order Cookiechim, interviews conducted via telephone calls, and documentation. The results of this study explain that the meaning of the act of buying BTS merchandise includes an escape from everyday problems and as an appreciation of fans to their idols.
