This research is based on the high volume of archive products created and the urgency in reusing archives that are difficult to find. The indication of the problem is that archive management is still not effective. The purpose of the research was to identify digital archive management of mutation and promotion documents at the Palembang city staffing and human resource development agency. The method used in this research is qualitative. The results of this study have been well defined. but there are still some aspects of deficiencies such as for example in the archive management of mutation document products that have not been transferred to digital media which has an impact on the lack of efficiency in the distribution and use and security of archives. lack of resources both in quantity and quality which has an impact on the management of the archive system is not structured and systematic. recommendations in this study are expected to fully implement archive management to be digitally transferred, complete facilities that are deemed lacking and the addition or socialization of archive management resources at the Palembang city staffing and human resource development agency.
