This study aims to analyze the factors that increased the export of goods in Indonesia during the trade war between the United States and China. Researchers are interested in examining what are Indonesia's efforts to boost exports of the furniture industry to the United States. What obstacles did Indonesia take and what steps were taken to increase the exports of the furniture industry which will be explained in depth. Data comes from secondary sources such as books, journals, official documents from the Indonesian government and websites. These data will be analyzed to answer Indonesia's effective steps to increase the export of the furniture industry to the United States. The theory of competitive advantage will be used to describe these efforts. Judging from the condition factor, Indonesia is a country that has extensive forest land which makes Indonesia one of the best quality timber producers in the world. Viewed from the demand factor, the trade war that occurred between the United States and China had an effect on the increasing demand for Indonesian furniture industry exports to the United States. Then there is the role of the government and craftsmen, namely the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Industry Association (HIMKI) to maximize production and increase exports of the furniture industry. In addition, the trade war between the United States and China has made it difficult for China to enter the US market. Then there is the company factor that develops the company by facilitating craftsmen, so as to maintain market consistency can affect the increase in export activities of the furniture industry in Indonesia during the trade war between the United States and China.
