This study aims to look at the role of UNICEF in overcoming the problems of poverty and hunger that affect children and society by using qualitative research methods which use international organization theory as a knife which will look at the role of UNICEF which consists of instruments, arenas and Independent Actor. The result of this paper is that the role of the international organization, namely UNCEF, is very influential in overcoming the impacts experienced by children and residents in Nigeria. In carrying out its role as an international organization namely an instrument, arena and independent actor, UNICEF is able to form policies and conventions that are formed to fight for the rights of people in Nigeria. Through the Child Protection and Education, Water and Sanitation Hygiene Services (WASH) program, UNICEF is trying to solve these problems so that cases of poverty and hunger in Nigeria can be eliminated.
