The increasing population growth causes the agricultural area to become narrow thus creating the concept of Urban Farming (shifting conventional farming to vertical farming. Based on BPS South Sumatra data, Pagar Alam Regency is still the largest supplier of horticultural vegetables in South Sumatra. Coupled with the current pandemic situation, people are increasingly paying attention to healthy eating patterns such as fresh vegetables and fruit, so that their needs increase. In response to this, the Urban Farming Eduwisata Gallery is here as a forum for business people, communities and the general public to learn and travel in a new and innovative atmosphere. Permaculture will be a concept in urban farming maintenance, while building design will apply the concept of architectural ecology. The application of Architectural Ecology is a method for exploring local potential, building tourism education infrastructure and facilities and integrating the surrounding community. The theory applied is; development and human and environmental health, management of natural elements and maintaining the integrity of environmental ecological relationships, based on the state of the ecosystem, potential and local wisdom. These principles are applied to energy and technology management, selection and use of materials to produce productive, attractive and sustainable tourism education areas. Also on a functional layout that is responsive to the climate and environment for both plant needs and visitor comfort.
