Electrical energy is one of the indispensable energy in human life, the increasing need for electrical energy, abundant resources are needed to produce electrical energy, not only abundant resources but environmentally friendly. One of them is solar energy, in Indonesia itself the sun shines all year round, so the energy we get is very abundant and environmentally friendly, solar energy can be converted into electrical energy with the effect PhotoVoltaic (PV) is a very promising, clean, quiet and reliable technology, with very small maintenance costs and little ecological impact, with solar panel media we can directly produce electrical energy, Over time, there are many methods to maximize or optimize the performance of photovoltaic panels, one of which is by using the Solar Tracker method. In this study using Solar Tracker Single-Axis using LDR sensor as a solar light tracking sensor that works following and welcoming the arrival of sunlight in one axis, so that sunlight can directly hit the surface area of the solar panel so that the performance of the solar panel increases, In this study conducted for 14 days, the highest output value was obtained on the solar panel using Solar Tracker i.e. rated voltage 16.4V, current 4.46A, power 61.057W, and efficiency value 55.01%. In solar panels without Solar Tracker, values are obtained namely voltage value of 16.05V, current value of 3.65A, power of 50.297W, and efficiency value of 51.94%. From the value that has been obtained and calculated, it can be analyzed that the external value of solar panels using Solar Tracker is greater than solar panels that do not use Solar Tracker because solar panels using this Tracker face directly on the incoming sunlight so that the process of absorbing sunlight is more optimal.
