PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang is a subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), where PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang is a company that has contributed to supporting the government in carrying out food security through sales, namely the export of urea fertilizer. PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang exports when the domestic need for urea fertilizer is met, Vietnam is one of the export destination countries and is the most consistent in making purchases. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang's competitive advantage in the export of urea in Vietnam in 2016- 2021. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative and uses primary and secondary data. The data was obtained through interviews and literature study. This study uses the theory of competitive advantage according to Porter. The results of this study are that PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang "a company that has a competitive advantage to be able to compete in international markets, especially Vietnam, competitive advantage is caused by condition factors, demand factors, related industrial factors and supporting industries, as well as strategy, structure, and competition factors. which has been successfully fulfilled. These four factors are the determinants of the National Competitive Advantage (NCA) according to diamond porter. Each factor has a different indicator and shows the advantages that have been achieved by PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang, which is a fertilizer producer. The main advantage of this company is that it can produce low biuret levels below 0.5 in urea fertilizer which can be beneficial for plants, making it different from other companies.
