Lack of adolescents’ knowledge about reproductive health causes adolescents to neglect the prevention and early detection of cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in Indonesia and not a few women in early adulthood get cervical cancer. Prevention of cervical cancer can be done from a young age with the HPV vaccine. However, the knowledge and attitude of adolescents about the HPV vaccine are still not enough. One of the things that can be done to increase the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about the HPV vaccine is by providing health education. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of health education media on the knowledge and attitudes of young women about the HPV vaccine. The type of this study is a quasi-experimental quantitative research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study was 66 people taken using probability sampling using a stratified sampling technique. Statistical analysis in the three groups showed that the engklek and crossword game intervention group had significant differences in knowledge and attitudes before and after being given treatment with a p-value 0.05. The results of the analysis using one-way ANOVA showed that there were significant differences in knowledge and attitudes in the engklek, crossword, and control groups with a p-value = 0.000. The Follow-up tests using post hoc and N-gain found data that crossword puzzles were more effective in increasing adolescent knowledge. Media crossword puzzles can be used as media in conveying information about the HPV vaccine. The information conveyed is expected to increase the coverage of the HPV vaccine and reduce the risk of cervical cancer
