This research is motivated by the implementation of competency-based job training that has not been optimal, this can be seen from the lack of human resources, both the number of instructors and trainees, the limited budget which causes a reduction in the number of training programs, and the absence of monitoring of alumni participating in job-based training. competence. This study aims to determine the achievement of the implementation of competency-based job training for the work force at the Palembang City Manpower Office. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative method to explain the achievement of competency-based job training programs. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses the theory of the CIPP evaluation model according to Stufflebeam which consists of the dimensions of context (context), input (input), process (process), and product (product). The results of this study indicate that the evaluation of the implementation of competency-based job training for the workforce by the Palembang City Manpower Office has not been carried out optimally. This shows that three of the four dimensions, namely the context, input, and product dimensions have not maximized results, while the process dimension has maximized results. Suggestions from this research in implementing competency-based job training in terms of CIPP theory must balance the context of community needs with the ability to input human resources, budget and facilities provided in order to support the process of implementing competency-based job training to achieve maximum product results.
