Legal Counseling for School Entrance Prosecutors is a form of implementation of Law Number 16 of 2004 concerning the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia Article 30 paragraph (3) letter (a) in increasing public legal awareness. This program is here as an effort that aims to make students understand and obey the law and can avoid unlawful acts. Before implementing the Extension Program, you must prepare the right communication strategy so that the communication process runs smoothly. This study aims to find out how the Communication Strategy of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office in the Legal Counseling Program for School Entrance Prosecutors also aims to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the program. This research was carried out using the method of directed interviews, observations and documentation studies and was compiled in the form of descriptive qualitative research conducted at the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office. The results of this study show that the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office in conducting counseling did not go through five stages of communication planning, namely: the research stage and the planning stage by focusing on the Program Implementation Guidelines from the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia. The implementation stage is to carry out the strategy that has been planned. And next is the Evaluation Stage and the Reporting Stage. In the Counseling Communication Strategy carried out by the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office, there are also supporting factors and also inhibiting factors for the Counseling Program.
