The purposes of this research is to determine the silencing process for netiquette violations in the form of cyberbullying that occurs in the comments column on YouTube music video Keke Bukan Boneka. By using qualitative content analysis methods and topic modeling techniques, researchers found as many as 150 cyberbullying words from 505,657 comments written on 29 May 2020 to 29 October 2022. The results of this study state that there are four silencing processes based on muted group theory (MGT). by Cheris Kramarae (1981), namely ridiculing, ritual, control, and harassment, as well as with a new topic from the findings of researchers, namely threats. This study also concludes that there has been a development in MGT, where in the current modernization era, high society (public figures) can become a group of silence because of their oversharing attitude. Meanwhile, the lower class of society (netizens) can become a group of silencers because of anonymity.
