The study entitled “Ecofeminism of Female Scavengers: Implementation Efforts of the Basic Ecofeminism Principles (Study on Scavengers in Prabumulih City). This study took location in Prabumulih City. This study aimed to identify and understand Ecofeminism and Female Scavengers in Prabumulih City in Implementing the Basic Ecofeminism Principles. The study method used was the descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological research strategy. The data were obtained from observation, in-depth interviews with 19 informants, documentation, and a literature review. Then, analyzed by using the theory of ecofeminism from Francoise d’Eaubonne. The results of the study showed that : (1) The waste collected was inorganic type, then it was sorted according to its categories and sold to collectors; (2) The basic ecofeminism principles implemented by female scavengers were the principles of responsibility for the integrity of the biosphere, carried out by taking garbage and growing plants. Cosmic Solidarity was carried out by opposing actions that damage the environment. Maintaining the harmony of nature was shown by actions to save electricity and water. Caring was shown by actions that care about the importance of all living things and Simplicity was carried out by not taking advantage of nature excessively; (3) Ecofeminism in female scavengers occurred naturally. The forms of contributing to the ecofeminism movement were by taking garbage and growing plants. Keywords: Scavengers, Female, Ecofeminism
