This research is entitled "COMMUNITY'S ADAPTATION TO DEALING WITH PT BAYUNG AGRO SAWITA (BAS) WASTE IN BAYUNG LENCIR VILLAGE, BAYUNG LENCIR SUB-DISTRICT, MUSI BANYUASIN DISTRICT, SOUTH SUMATERA". This study aims to know and understand how people adapt to waste from PT. Bayung Argo Sawita in Bayung Lencir District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with case study method. Determination of informants using purposive techniques. Data collection is done by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The result is a form of community adaptation to this waste by adjusting to environmental conditions, one example is that the community uses air freshener or also closes the door of the house so that odors are produced from the production process of PT Bayung Agro Sawita (BAS) and there are several inhibiting factors and forming community adaptation regarding PT.BAS waste in the village of Bayung Lencir such as the lack of facilities and infrastructure that were made that were not thoroughly felt by the community and the lack of support and attention from the Government to deal with cases of waste produced by PT Bayung Agro Sawita (BAS).
