This study was titled "The Social Economic Condition of Farmers Since Developing Sarang Walet Cultivation Business in Sri Mulya Village, Sinar Pengharan Subdistrict". This study has the purpose of identifying the background factors of farmers in developing swallow nest cultivation and knowing the socioeconomic conditions of farmers since developing swallow nest cultivation. The methods used are qualitative research methods with power collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used in this study is Soerjono Soekanto's Social Economic Theory and uses the concept of business opportunity. The results of the study are two factors in setting up farmers in the cultivation of swallow nests: internal and external factors, internal factors consisting of insight/knowledge, self-knowledge and experience and external factors consisting of surrounding phenomena, market demand and innovation. Meanwhile, the social and economic conditions of farmers who develop the cultivation of swallow nests that have gained profits are changing in a better and positive direction.
