Sweet corn (Zee mays saccharata Sturt) is the second important food crop commodity after rice and is favored by the public because it tastes sweeter than ordinary corn. Sweet corn has economic value and can be processed. Rice husk ash is a solid residue from burning organic matter (biomass) which does not undergo evaporation, husk ash also has a high fiber, pH and elemental content. Rice husk ash also plays a role in increasing soil pH and the availability of P, K Si and carbon nutrients in the soil. Manure has natural properties and does not damage the soil and provides macro and micro elements, besides that manure functions to increase water resistance, soil microbiological activity, value your exchange capacity and improve soil structure. This study aims to determine the effect of rice husk ash and cow manure on the growth and production of sweet corn and to obtain the best dosage for peatlands. The research was conducted from June to February 2023 in the experimental field of Bandar Agung Village, Lalan District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research was conducted using a randomized block design factorial (RAKF) which consisted of two factors with the following factors: the first factor was rice husk ash (A) which consisted of: A0 = control, A1 = rice husk ash 30 tons/ha (150 g/polybag), A2 = rice husk ash 60 tonnes/ha (300g/polybag) and the second factor is cow manure (S) consisting of: S0 = control, S1 = cow manure 42 tonnes/ha (210 g/polybag ), S2 = cow manure 84 tons/ha (420 g/polybag) so that 9 treatments were repeated 3 times for each treatment with 2 plant samples. The results showed that (1) treatment of rice husk ash 60 tonnes/ha(300g/polybag) and cow manure 42 tonnes/ha(210g/polybag) was the treatment that most suppressed the growth of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) on peat. (2) the application of rice husk ash and cow manure had a significant effect on cob diameter, number of leaves, cob length, cob weight, cob length without husk, and cob weight without husk, but had no significant effect on plant height, plant wetness, plant dry weight
