KUALITAS FISIK PELET BERBAHAN DASAR UMBI SINGKONG DAN Indigofera zollingeriana DENGAN PENAMBAHAN BAHAN PEREKAT YANG BERBEDA
Physical Quality of Pellets Made from Cassava Tubers and Indigofera zollingeriana Leaves With the Addition of Different Adhesives (Supervised by RIZKI PALUPI). Cassava tubers and Indigofera zollingeriana leaves are one of the feed ingredients that have the potential to replace corn. The material is processed into pellet feed which has many advantages with a combination of 70% cassava root, 30% Indigofera zollingeriana with the addition of different adhesives and followed by a physical test to test the quality of the pellets. This study aimed to evaluate the physical quality of pellets made from different compositions of cassava root and Indigofera zollingeriana and different adhesives. This study was conducted at the Animal Feed and Nutrition Laboratory and Experimental Animal Station of Department of Animal Husbandry Industry and Technology, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, from September to December 2022. Treatment consisted of P1 (70% combination of cassava root flour, 30% Indigofera zollingeriana) P2 (70% combination of cassava root flour, 24% Indigofera zollingeriana + 6% tapioca) P3 (70% combination of cassava root flour, 27% Indigofera zollingeriana + 3% molasses). Parameters in this study were specific gravity, pile density, pile compaction density, and color. The results of the study showed that the treatment had a significant effect (P
