PENGARUH JENIS DAN KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN TERUNG (Solanum melongena L.)
The research aims to determine the best type and concentration of LOF to support optimal growth and maximum yield in eggplant (Solanum melongena L). This research was conducted from July to October 2022 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research used a randomized block design (RBD) which consisted of 7 treatments and 3 replications where each replicate contained 3 plants. The treatments used were Po = Control (without giving LOF), P1 = BMW LOF 4 ml/l, P2 = BMW LOF 6 ml/l, P3 = BMW LOF 8 ml/l, P4 = NASA LOF 4 ml/l, P5 = NASA LOF 6 ml/l, P6 = NASA LOF 8 ml/l. The parameters observed in this study included plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), plant age at flowering, number of branches, fruit length (cm), fruit diameter (mm), number of fruit per plant (fruit), fruit weight per fruit (gram), fruit weight per plant (gram). Analysis of diversity used the ANOVA test and continued with the 5% BNJ test. The results showed that the application of various types and concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer to eggplant plants had no significant effect between treatments on each observation parameter. However, giving of BMW LOF with a concentration of 8 ml/l gave the best results on fruit length, fruit weight per fruit, number of branches and stem diameter.
