This study discusses the Relationship of Power of Attorney in Making Decisions on Contraceptive Use in Families of Family Planning Acceptors in Timbangan Subdistrict, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study aims to find out, 1. The form of power relations in determining the decision making of contraceptive use in families of family planning acceptors in Timbangan Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. 2. Factors that lead to power relations in making decisions on contraceptive use in families of family planning acceptors in Timbangan Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with a qualitative approach. The theory of this research uses Foucault's theory of power relations. Data collection techniques used are direct observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that there were two forms of power relations in determining the decision making of contraceptive use in families of family planning acceptors in Timbangan Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency, namely 1. Relation of power over the body. In the form of power relations over the body, there are two forms of power relations, namely in the form (a). Mastery over women's bodies, (b). low bargaining position. 2. Relations of power over thought. In the form of power relations over thoughts in the form of (a). Mind manipulation, (b) Gender Stereotypes. The factors that led to the occurrence of power relations in determining the decision to use contraceptives in families of family planning acceptors in Timbangan Village, Indralaya Utara District, Ogan Ilir Regency, namely (1). Habits prevailing in society (2). Wrong interpretation of religious views. Keywords: Power Relations, Decision Making, Contraceptive Devices
