This rescarch is important to discuss because it will answer the reasons behind the peace mission policy taken by President Joko Widodo in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This study aims to analvre the Perspective of the Rational Actor Model in President Joko Widodo's Peace Mission to Russia and Ukraine in 2022. The research began when the war that occurred between Russia and Ukraine in early 2022 was caused by Ukraine joining the Western bloc alliance, namely NATO, whick provided a deterrence effect for Russia. Rutsia views Ukraine's joining NATO as an expansion to reduce Russia's influence in the Eattern European region In addition, the actions taken by Ukraine are a violation of creating a huffer zone or neutral zone so that Russia takes confrontational actions to secure its geopolitical interests. Indonesia under the leadership of Joko Widodo has the basics stipulated in the Constitution regarding free and active foreign policy in which Indonesia is free to determine attitudes in foreign policy. In this research, the writer used the Rational Actor Model eted by Graham Allison. The 3 indicators used to answer the research problems include Unifie National Actor, The Problem. and Action as Rational Choice. The method used by the author is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data obtained in this stady used secondary data consisting of official news websites, journal articles, books, library research, and many secondary sources related to this research. The results of this study show that through 3 indicators from the Rational Actor Model, the authors found that the peace mission brought by Joko Widodo apart from implementing the state constitution is also inseparable due to various material and non material considerations that Indonesia wants to achieve, such as securing the food and energy sectors as a whole globally, securing the G20 Presidency, and many other considerations so that the Ukraine and Russia conflict is seen by President Joko Widodo as an important thing to overcome Keywords: Peace Mission, President Joko Widodo, Ukraine, Russia, Indonesia, Rational Actor Model
