The Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection is a government agency that has duties and functions in protecting and fulfilling the rights of women and children from all forms of violence, discrimination, special protection and other problems related to women and children. This study aims to determine whether or not the DPPPA Organizational Participation is optimal in preventing violence against children in South Sumatra Province. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis techniques using triangulation techniques. The results of this study explain that the DPPPA in protecting victims of violence has not been optimal even though the services provided to victims are going well but the assistance provided by psychology is still lacking because human resources have not been sufficient and program advocacy to districts/cities in South Sumatra Province has not covered all regions due to unfavorable budget and location.
